New York, NY – September 1, 2011.  Ron Gordon Watches, a leading New York City Watch Repair company, is proud to announce that they will be carrying the new Hamilton Watches such as the famous Hamilton Thin O’matic and Hamilton Pan Europ Chrono-Matic.  According to the manufacturer, the new Hamilton Thin-O-Matic line has its roots in the 1960s, when the original model of this name first made waves. Recalling the proud heritage of the Hamilton Thin-O-Matic, this new edition offers contemporary executions of retro details. These details include gently curved dials and second hands, snap back closures, plus an engraved Hamilton heritage logo, integrating the brand’s famous crest, on the case back.

“This is really exciting in the watch world,” explained Ron Gordon, master watchmaker, “because I have worked on the original Thin O Matics. The new ones they are making look like the originals but are better because it will have a sapphire crystal (the old ones were plastic), and they are water resistant to 5 bars.  I am encouraging lovers of Hamilton watches to contact me on the new Hamilton watches we have for sale in our New York City location.”

About the New Hamilton Watches for Sale – Thin O’Matic and Pan Europ Chrono-Matic

First launched in the 1960s, the Thin O’matic was one the flattest automatic watches of its time, with the ôsuper-movementö developed by Buren. The watch has 3 hands and a snap back closure a traditional closure for dress watches in the 60s. The watch is engraved with the Hamilton heritage logo.  The Hamilton Company is capitalizing on the fashion trends for “vintage watches” yet blending that with state-of-the art technology to produce a classic watch, today.  The company is also bringing back the Pan Europ Chrono-Matic.  The original, of course, debuted in 1971, a big watch with a 42 mm case.  In addition, in 1969, a consortium of Buren Hamilton and Heuer developed the automatic chronograph movement Caliber 11, one of the very first automatic winding chronographs.

The new Hamilton Thin-O-Matic line has its roots in the 1960s, when the original model of this name first made waves. Available in two case sizes, each modern watch conceals the power of a slim Swiss automatic movement in a design that fuses elegance and comfort. The original Hamilton Thin-O-Matic watches earned fame as the flattest automatics of their time. Today’s tribute happily marries Swiss craftsmanship with modern watchmaking and design.
