History. Established in 1971. Ron Gordon Watch Repair specializes in high quality watches, both modern and vintage, and repairs watches for those who wear the very best brands. Our expert and namesake is Ron Gordon, a professional watch repairman and master watchmaker. Ron’s father and grandfather were both Master Watchmakers. His grandfather had a watchmaking machine shop in the basement of his house where he produced various different watch components in the early 1920’s. Ron’s father continued the business after my grandfather died. Ron started working on watches when he was 9 years old helping him make watch components and honed his trade. After High School, Ron went to the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking and graduated in 1976 as a professional watch repairman. After that, he opened his own New York city business, Ron Gordon Watches, located in mid-town Manhattan.
Today, the shop is a thriving watch repair business. Ron also has a vast experience on vintage Zodiac watch repair and a large inventory.
Meet the Business Owner: Ron G. My name is Ron Gordon, and I am the proprietor of Ron Gordon Watch Repair, located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City (NYC). I went to Bulova School of Watchmaking and graduated in 1976. I worked in several watch shops and then opened my watch shop in 1979. I also worked with Van Cleef & Arpels and Alfred Dunhill watches for over 20 years.
